Mount Merici Academy, a Catholic school, is dedicated to nurturing the whole child - mind, body, and spirit - providing love and guidance so that students can achieve their personal best. In partnership with families, our mission is to instill the values of respect, responsibility, and self-discipline, teaching students in the Ursuline Serviam tradition of service to our community and the world.
Ursuline Educational Mission
At the heart of Ursuline education is the Gospel call to mission and the living spirit of St. Angela Merici, foundress of the Ursuline Sisters. Grounded in this call and in this spirit, Ursuline education is relationship-centered, with attentiveness to and respect for the unique gifts, potential, and needs of each individual. It is an educational vision that fosters the development of the whole person – spirit, mind, and body – in a nurturing community environment. As Jesus and St. Angela were both attuned to the needs of those around them, Ursuline education seeks to form servant-leaders, open to and engaged in the ever-changing global reality in which they are called to live and serve.

Mount Merici 2025 Summer Care Schedule
June 23, 2025 – August 15, 2025 - 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
June 23 – 27 Kick off summer with tons of outdoor fun! Activities include a
scavenger hunt and Bike Day on Wednesday and Thursday —
don’t forget your helmet! We’ll wrap up the week with a festive ice cream party.
June 30 – July 4 (Closed Thursday, July 3 & Friday, July 4)
Let freedom ring! Celebrate Independence Day with Independence Bingo
and a T-shirt coloring activity — please bring a white T-shirt on Monday.
Don’t forget to wear red, white, and blue!
July 7 – 11 We’re celebrating the heroes in our families and communities!
Students may invite a special “hero” to lunch on Thursday (details to follow).
We’ll also welcome visits from the local police and fire departments.
July 14 – 18 Enjoy a week full of bounce house fun, water slides, sprinklers,
and more — weather permitting!
July 21 – 25 Dive into the deep blue! Explore ocean life through crafts
with sand, shells, and sea glass.
July 28 – August 1 Get up close and personal with bugs and butterflies!
We’ll use magnifying glasses, catch bugs, and build insect houses.
August 4 – 8 Let your creativity soar! Build with Legos, blocks, and wood.
We’ll finish the week with a Lego competition and a dance party.

We’re heading back outdoors for hiking, nature exploration, and more! The summer wraps up with our Family Ice Cream Party, featuring a bounce house, water slide, and plenty of ice cream!
