Development

What is Development for Mount Merici?

Fund-raising comes first to mind, and the majority of development is fundraising, including seeking grants, fund-raisers, conducting campaigns, etc. But development activity also includes promoting the school: through publicity, business and supporter relationships, and most importantly, through the families of Mount Merici:

Alumni promote the Mount through their examples of excellence in junior high, high school, college, and careers.

Parents promote the Mount through their communications about the school among friends, family, coworkers.

Staff promote the Mount through their excellence in teaching and caring, professional performance.
Students promote the Mount through their community involvement and kind, positive attitudes.
The purpose of Mount Merici development is to identify the strengths of the school, and to promote and publicize the faith-filled, excellent educational community it offers, with the result of gaining material and spiritual support, making the school accessible to all who desire to attend.

Supporting Mount Merici

How can I support Mount Merici? School tuition pays for only about one-third of the total cost of educating a child. Our Annual Appeal is our chief source of donor income and provides an effective way to support the school.
In-kind donations of volunteer time and material items (computer equipment, classroom supplies, etc) are always appreciated. To best meet the needs of the school, please contact the school office at 873-3773 or email the Development Office.

The Campaign for Mount Merici

Our current campaign appeal ends December 31, 2007. Donors and alumni will receive our newsletters. If you are a new supporter and are not receiving our newsletter, and would like to, please send an email to the Development Office.

If you are interested in becoming a supporter, please contact us. You may also print a Pledge Form and mail it to the school.

As always, you are in the prayers of the school! Thank you!
