Board of Directors

Brian J. Morin, DMD, joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and serves on the Academic Affairs Committee. Dr. Morin is in private practice in orthodontics. He resides in Waterville with his wife Jacqueline Tjon Sieuw Morin, DMD, and their two children Joseph and Cecelia. Dr. Morin also  volunteers on the MaineGeneral Health golf tournament committee.

Daniel Poole, DC, joined the Board in 2005 and serves on the Academic Affairs Committee. Dan is a chiropractor with Park Street Chiropractic in Waterville. He and his wife, Angela Hastings Poole, have two daughters, Rylee and Sophia. The Poole Family lives in Oakland. 

Dennis Harris, a resident of Belgrade, joined the Board in 2004. He is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Dennis is employed by Pepsi Bottling Company. He and his wife, Anne, have one son, Ethan. Dennis also serves as Eucharistic Minister at Parish of the Holy Spirit.

Diane Datsis Lane is a retired schoolteacher of 18 years and a 1964 alumna of the former Mount Merici Academy. She joined the Board in 2003 and serves on the Development Committee. Diane and her husband, David, are residents of Oakland. They have two children and two grandchildren. She is an active member and volunteer at St. Theresa’s Church in Oakland. 

 Eliza G. Denoeux joined the Board in 2005. She serves on the Development Committee.

Father Paul Dumais is a Priest of the Diocese of Portland. He serves as Parochial Vicar in the parishes of Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. John the Baptist and Parish of the Holy Spirit. He is also appointed to the Presbyteral Council by Bishop Malone. Father Paul joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and serves on the Academic Affairs Committee.

Lisa Burton became a member of the Board of Directors in 2005. Lisa is the Director of Leadership Programs at Thomas College in Waterville and serves as Chair of Mount Merici’s Development Committee. She and her husband Tom are the parents of Tanner and MacKenzie. The Burtons are residents of Oakland.

Michael Duguay has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2002, serving on the Development Committee. He is the Development Director for the City of Augusta. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors of the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments. He lives in Waterville with his wife Vicki, Kindergarten teacher at Mount Merici, and their children Sage and Chase.

Randy D. Charette joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and serves on the Finance Committee. Randy is Pulping and Technical Operations Manager and member of the leadership team at Madison Paper Industries. He is also a volunteer coach for Oakland Recreation and Waterville Youth Soccer Association. Randy is a resident of Oakland, where he lives with his wife, Monica Wilcox Charette, Development Director at Mount Merici, and their two children, Colby and Cassidy.

 

Sr. Angela Krippendorf, o.s.u., is a resident of Ursuline Provincialate in Dedham, Massachusetts. She is Provincial Prioress (Chair) of Provincial of the Ursulines of the Northeast Province. In her role on the school’s Board of Directors, Sr. Angela is a member of the Finance Committee.

Stephen Bosse serves as Chair of the Mount Merici Board of Directors. As an active member, he has served on all committees since joining the Board in 2000. Stephen is the Project Manager of the Maine Field of Engineers at B.E. & K. Engineering. He and his wife Pam, Grade 5 teacher at Mount Merici, live in Fairfield with their son, Bryan.

Susan H. Cote is Principal of Mount Merici School, a position she has held since 1995. She is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and serves on all Board committees. Mrs. Cote lives in Waterville with her husband, Paul. They have three children: Paul, Patrick and Elizabeth (Mount Merici class of 1996) and one grandson, Caden Patrick. Mrs. Cote is a Eucharistic Minister for Parish of the Holy Spirit.

Zlatko “Z” Necevski joined the Mount Merici Board of Directors in 2004 and serves on the Development and Academic Affairs committees. He also serves on multiple fundraising and school events committees. He is a stay-at-home parent and per diem pilot for the James. W. Sewall Company. He and his wife Helen L. Bell-Necevski, OD, live in Oakland with their two daughters Mikhaila Madison.

 

Chuck Calkins is among the original Board of Consultants and has served on the Board of Directors since its inception in 2001. He currently leads the Finance Committee as Chair and Treasurer. Chuck is the Chief Financial Officer of Care & Comfort of Waterville. He also serves as Treasurer of the Waterville Youth Soccer Association. He and his wife, Stephanie Calkins, MD, have three children, Aidan, Fern, and Molly. The Calkins live in Oakland.

Timothy R. O’Donnell is a lawyer with O’Donnell & Lee LLC. Tim is a charter member of the Board of Directors, joining in 2001. He serves on the Finance Committee and is Chair of the Board Committee for “Campaign for Mount Merici.”
